Tickets are now available for the 31st Annual A Taste of Muncie – A Taste for the Times. The Cornerstone Center for the Arts and PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union A Taste of Muncie is on Sunday, April 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a VIP pre-event beginning at 1 p.m. This annual culinary competition serves as a fundraiser for Cornerstone’s low-cost quality arts programs for youth and adults.
Spend the afternoon tasting the best food and drinks available in Delaware County from various area vendors while helping to make arts accessible for all. A Taste of Muncie is made possible by support from Mr. Mouse Catering, Praxis Consulting, 104.1 WLBC, 104.9 WERK FM, 93.5 MAX Radio, 96.7 BLAKE FM, and FOX Sports Radio 102.9 FM/1340 AM, Vera Mae’s Bistro, Guardian Brewing Company, and New Corner Brewing Company.
Confirmed vendors this year include: Auntie Anne’s, Berry Winkle, Heavenly Creations Catering, IHOP, Ivy Tech Community College – Hospitality Division, Minnetrista, Mr. Mouse Catering, Once Upon a Plate Catering, Pizza Hut, RP’s Pizza, and Two Cats Café with more to be added! Attendees are invited to sample each vendor’s offerings and vote on the best appetizer, beverage, dessert, entrée, pizza, salad, sandwich, side, soup, and the coveted overall “Best of Taste.”
In addition to the main event, a special VIP reception will begin at 1 p.m. featuring food and beer pairings from Vera Mae’s Bistro, Guardian Brewing Company, and New Corner Brewing Company. VIP ticket holders will gain early access to all food vendors, private entertainment, and reserved seating private from general admission ticket holders. For the second year, A Taste of Muncie will feature a beer garden brought to you by New Corner Brewing Company and Guardian Brewing Company. Beer samples will be available to attendees ages 21 & up with pints available for an additional purchase price.
VIP tickets are $40 per person. Advanced general admission tickets are $20 for adults or $15 for students with ID. General admission tickets at the door the day of the event are $25 for adults and $20 for students. Children, ages five and under, are free.
