Each year the South Asian Muncie Association hosts a festival showcasing the culture of South Asia. This year the association has partnered with Cornerstone Center for the Arts and is welcoming the general public to enjoy an evening of food, dance, fashion, and performances.
SAMA Fest will be held at Cornerstone on Saturday, November 11 beginning at 5 p.m Guests will have the opportunity of sampling traditional cuisine from India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Traditional dance performances and a fashion show of traditional clothing are amongst the evening’s entertainment.
Tickets for adults are $30 per person, students and children ages seven to 18 are $15, and children six and under are free to attend. Tickets for SAMA Fest are available online at cornerstonearts.org, at Cornerstone’s second floor information desk from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by calling 765-281-9503 during the previously mentioned times.
